Hee! Me too. Both parents had four siblings. I have something like twelve cousins on either side.

Thing is that I'm by no means the oldest. So now one side has twelve cousins, four cousins-in-law, six cousins-once-removed, and a whole bunch of fiancees. (Plus assorted girl-and-boyfriends, but I don't count them--or remember their names--until they're engaged. I need *some* sanity.) And that's the side that has ginormous family reunions, too. We need nametags. And possibly a clan tartan, at this point.

LOL! I know that feeling all too well. I was an only child since my mom's pregnancy was life threatening, but on my dad's side, he had 5 siblings and each of them had 3+ kids (double the figures when factoring in my grandpa's 6 siblings and thier respective broods), so at this point I probably have more cousins than I do both friends and casual acquaintences.

I only have four first-cousins (might have had more if my mother's only sibling and her husband and daughter hadn't, uh, died), but the extended family is gigantic and scary. (I'm also the eldest of the cousins - there's six of us total, unless you start expanding to the cousins-of-my-cousins, in which case I'm pretty sure I'm still the oldest at 21, but there are a shit-ton more.)

	I don't even know how many I really have. Aside from both my aunts being from huge families (one's the middle of 7, the other's the second of 4), all four of my grandparents had two or more siblings, and there's a lot of feuding and secrecy going on. There's a whole other branch of my family in Virginia through my grandfather's brother, none of whom I've ever met. (Reply to this)(Parent)
