There was recently a big stink in my state about a guy who was serving a lengthy term when he developed cancer, and the prison medical staff didn't catch it while it was still treatable. By the time he was able to see other medical staff, the cancer had advanced so far that it was terminal.

So unless Paris has suddenly contracted a potentially fatal illness - she's quite obviously getting special treatment.

Yeah, they do have med personnel at jails and prisons. They don't usually let you out of jail unless you're in like the terminal stages of some dire disease. "Might get a staph infection" should NOT get you out of jail, not unless they've emptied the goddamn rest of the jail. And even then, she's not in the general population; the odds of her getting it aren't so high.

	It seems to me quite possible that she might be on treatments that are very expensive for conditions undisclosed to us. Not knowing anything about what any of those conditions are, it's hard to know if this is a legitimate medical release versus brilliant lawyering sleight-of-hand, but ya know what? You have no idea how long I had been waiting to make screencaps of the What Have I Done to Deserve This? video. I got PopArt on DVD and ran to my computer, only to find out that my DVD-rom was broken. Woe. Something about the woman with the glasses just completely drew me in. Also, it confirmed my belief that showgirls are the perfect accessory for every social function.

	I have, I have! My husband has it on laserdisc. The best part? It's a Japanese import, and so while in English, is subtitled in Japanese. Which adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the whole thing, which is a big pile of WTF to begin with. I've found clips from it on YouTube. I'll see if I can locate them. (Reply to this)(Parent)
