In case you missed it, the logo for the 2012 London Summer Olympics was unveiled not too long ago. (It's coming to get you!)

The reaction? Not great.

A lone voice shouts...we liked it.

Can I be excused from being amused that the designers said that the only reason people didn't like the design was because it was too "edgy" for them? Sounds like someone's been reading the Anne Rice bumper book of self-justification!

They're partly right. There's TOO MANY EDGES! Not enough actual, you know - substance!
