I'll tip my NY baristas like i do my Seattle baristas when they make drinkable fucking lattes like my Seattle baristas do.

Those tip guides are helpful, but maybe not in this case since many of them specifically say not to tip Starbucks workers (logic being that Starbucks is akin to a fast food chain, and you don't tip at fast food restaurants) unless you've ordered something complicated or not on the menu.

I don't get to have an opinion on the whole tipping baristas thing because I don't frequent Starbucks. I do find it difficult to take anyone who says that Starbucks frappuchino is an artform very seriously. Sounds a little too much like Subway and their "sandwich artists" to me.

	I don't know about artform, but their caramel cream frappuchino is the best thing ever. Doubly so, because I don't drink coffee contaminated stuff. I bought their syrup and make them at home as well. Mmmmmmmm :) (Reply to this)(Parent)
