Cat Macro Sale Going On Now in Stupid Free!
Three sequential posts in [info]stupid_free have actually created a great chance to stock up on cat macros, if you're interested.

It begins with [info]papanook posting about something he saw in the [info]liberal community here, but he doesn’t provide a link to the post he’s mocking. Which causes the community to mock him instead. Which causes Papanook to delete several of the comments.

Only a couple macros are present, but they're not bad.

Papanook finally returns two hours later with a snarky flounce post:

And to all you ageist and intolerant BOZOs who think they know everything--bugger off! Remember that someday you'll get old (if this poor ol' planet survives another 30-40 yrs) and then you'll wonder what the hell happened to the "good ol' days when you had the internet by the balls"---YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE!

Macros abound in the comments.

Finally, [info]krikette scolds the rest of the community here for abusing [info]papanook.

Macros abound in the comments.

Rather a nifty selection, if you need to restock.

I'm not sure I understand what krikette's upset about-- is there some sort of unwritten rule about not giving anyone a hard time if they're 59+ years of age? Did Papanook buy some of that insurance they sell on the TV where the salesman goes SENIORS! IF YOU'RE 55 OR OLDER, YOU QUALIFY FOR THIS OFFER! NEVER LET WHIPPERSNAPPERS MAKE FUN OF YOU ON THE INTERNET AGAIN! (people denying the existence of whippersnappers may be whippersnappers themselves)? I mean, it's not as if 60's so old that we should expect him to be doddering and senile, is it? Most people I know who are 60+ are still pretty sharp. This is not to say Papanook seems terribly sharp, but I get the feeling he was exactly the same way at 25 as he is now.

Obviously, if such insurance existed, it would exclude disrespect from people to whom one contributed DNA.

Too bad, that.

On the one hand, my parents are both in their 60's and are still very sharp.

But on the other hand, they had to take a special free class offered by their local library when they got their new computer so they would know what the hell they were doing. (They sent me an email when they were done that basically said, "now that we know what a link is and how to use it, can you tell us about some good ones?" It was cute.)
