You'd think that torturing a pet would be something we could all condemn...
So I was perusing the Star Gate: Atlantis newsletter, and followed a link to something listed as "Sunday Secrets" (expecting that it would be about the third season episode 'Sunday'). Instead I ended up in a community called PostSecret, "an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard."

Amongst not-unexpected fare such as abortion and gay prom dates, there is a postcard from someone who forced their cat to drink bleach in order to see the cute vet. (Note the file name.)

Not surprisingly, there's tons of outrage in the comments. Also not surprisingly, there's tons of people wanking about the outrage.

I liked kriatyrr's comment: If you just want to see cute guys, I suggest you pick up stalking. It's less creepy.

Bonus wank: apparently only a woman would be that psycho.

(And I still have no idea what this has to do with SGA.)

ETA: OK, I get it. I personally was disgusted too, but found the complaints to be FAIL and therefore mildly amusing, but I guess I was wrong. No need to belabor the point.

Well, nothing, but I feel there's no such thing as a bad time to talk about the deliciousness of the cast of that show. Rachel Luttrell is gorgeous (and Teyla is made of win and awesome). Jason Momoa makes me spontaneously combust every time he appears on the screen. Joe Flanigan is most pretty (the hair!) and David Hewlett is just one big cuddlebunny. Plus he needs to kiss more guys. Oh yes.

I need some SGA icons, know where I can get some?

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie


1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
1/3 Cup hot fudge dessert topping, divided
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 pkg jello-o vanilla instant pudding
2 cups thawed cool whip

Combine crumbs and butter in 9-inch pie plate. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of plate. SPread 1/4 cup of the fudge topping into the bottom of the crust. Place in freezer 10 minutes.

Mix peanut butter and milk in large bowl with wire whisk until well blendd. Add pudding mix; beat 2 minutes or until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Gently spoon over chocolate layer.

Top with remaining 1 cup whipped topping. Refridgerate 3 hours or until set. Drizzle with remaining fudge topping just before serving. Store leftover pie in the refridgerator.

Makes 10 servings.

Dip the bottom of the pie plate in warm water for 20 seconds before slicing to serve.
