People whining about compassion towards things what don't look like them: sometimes funny, not terribly funny now.

You know, I'd like to know what happened to the idea of a community. Last time I checked, it was a place for free thought and discussion. The Internet was supposed to be a medium for the transfer of information, which supposedly evolved into something we can all share our opinions through.

However, lately, it seems that the second someone disagrees with someone else, the former person always regresses into childish name calling and general insults.

Really now, that's comedy gold right there.
