You'd think that torturing a pet would be something we could all condemn...
So I was perusing the Star Gate: Atlantis newsletter, and followed a link to something listed as "Sunday Secrets" (expecting that it would be about the third season episode 'Sunday'). Instead I ended up in a community called PostSecret, "an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard."

Amongst not-unexpected fare such as abortion and gay prom dates, there is a postcard from someone who forced their cat to drink bleach in order to see the cute vet. (Note the file name.)

Not surprisingly, there's tons of outrage in the comments. Also not surprisingly, there's tons of people wanking about the outrage.

I liked kriatyrr's comment: If you just want to see cute guys, I suggest you pick up stalking. It's less creepy.

Bonus wank: apparently only a woman would be that psycho.

(And I still have no idea what this has to do with SGA.)

ETA: OK, I get it. I personally was disgusted too, but found the complaints to be FAIL and therefore mildly amusing, but I guess I was wrong. No need to belabor the point.

It's worse than that: I think that people here are horrible hypocrites when it comes to animal abuse. Cat macros, in which the poor cats are pestered and bothered and then have to put up with the camera's flash just so people can mock them is OK, but letting them drink a bot of bleach is not?
People here care more about the cat's INTESTINES than its FEELINGS! It's outrageous and I think the mods should delete all the comments from the people who are complaining about the post's unfunnyness. Because those comments are UNFUNNY and they VIOLATE the OP's RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH.
I feel like Strikethrough2007 all over again.

See? That cat doesn't look happy at all. And why did he do it? Just because he said he would do it.
But what if the cat is Jewish? Or a vegetarian? Or if he just doesn't want bacon taped on him? Do people care about that? No! They just want to point and laugh. I think it's cruel and I think we should start a movement against cat abuse in cat macros and I think that Fandom Wank should ban cat macros and ban all the people who make them, even outside the community. It would be the right thing to do and it would SHOW these horrible people.
Because CAT MACROS ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS.

I don't care what the topic is. The post wasn't fucking funny, it was just depressing. The point of the comm is to bring the funny. Up thread someone found something that was actually funny in the wank and posted about it. If the OP had done some sleuthing, we might have gotten a "hey, the actual post is depressing, but this thread is fucking funny" post that didn't make us want to drink bleach.

Just put a little salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce on the burger when it's on the grill. Good beef doesn't really need anything else. Remember that if you get grass-fed beef it will cook faster than corn-fed, though.
