	Okay- serious question time- why are bugs not considered meat when talking about omnivores' habits? Is it because they're not fuzzy? Or because of some other reason? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

I'm no biologist or insectologist or whatever, but I think it's because bugs are different than vertabres(sp?). They don't have muscle structures like us, the same way they don't have blood, bones or organs like us. And since muscle tissue is meat and bugs dont' have it, they're not considered meat. They're protien, for sure, but like nuts and eggs and other meatless protein things.
That would be my educated guess, with no checking up on Wiki or anything.

	That makes sense, I guess- I'm coming at it from a "Eating a living, breathing organism, which eggs and nuts aren't." Still- your explanation pacifies me... for now. shifty eyes (Reply to this)(Parent)
