Grammar wank ahoy
Snagged off stupid_free

[info]ilovefreaks has a bone to pick with the [info]writers_guild community:

To the grammer Nazis
I am sorry that you have no life and that all you do is blog and materbate. (Which makes for a very sticky keyboard)

Grammar nitpicking? On a writers' community? OH THE INDIGNITY.

The community members are less than amused, so she retorts with piercing rhetoric like "I do have good work it's just when people get so stuck on the grammar that they can't see anything else what does that make them. I have a right to bitch I'm an American!"

Also with a side of Nazi wank

In addition to that, courtesy of the sharp folks on stupid_free, we have an example of the eye-poppingly wonderful prose of [info]ilovefreak that's been so cruelly maligned by the denizens of [info]writers_guild:

READ IT. READ IT AND WEEP (WITH HAPPINESS).

Only Americans are allowed to bitch on the internet, y'know. It's one of our less-advertised rights.

I believe it's codified thus: No citizen of the United States of America shall be deprived of full freedom to bitch on the internet. Any person attempting to censor, contradict, argue with, mock or otherwise limit the freedom of a citizen of the United States of America to use the internet howsoever that citizen pleases shall be a) imprisoned and tortured or b) bombed into the stone age if not a citizen or resident of the United States of America. No person may counter the internet bitching of a citizen of the United States of America with internet bitching, lest law enforcement become confused.

Don't forget the bit where we're entitled to e-lawyers.

Oh, this bit? All persons having the maturity level of a seven-year-old or younger and attempting to debate on the internet are entitled to the services of an e-lawyer, regardless of the circumstances of the debate. You're right, I had forgotten.

It's a valuable part of our e-rights! We even have an e-Miranda warning. "You are being mocked for being a jackass, you have the right to commit psuedocide. You have the right to threaten with an e-attorney. You have the right to TLDR nonsense ranting. Should you exercise any of these rights, we will mock you all the harder."
