	Krispy Kreme is about a five minute drive from me. When I first moved here, I'd go there practically every day for breakfast, and bring home a dozen donuts on Saturdays. Really soon after that, though, my tummy decided to stage a massive and convincing protest. So I haven't had one in months. :/ (Reply to this)(Parent)

We've had Krispy Kreme here in the Virginia DC suburbs for years now; around here, though, they're all made in Alexandria (I don't know of any other actual shops) and shipped by truck to the grocery stores. Alexandria is about an hour's drive from here...that said, they don't taste all that stale when I have them.

Dunkin' Donuts have always tasted a bit funky to me. I think it's just the way they're made.
