Hummers always lead to wank, don't they?
Over in Sensible Erection (often NWS), someone posts an article about a guy who bought a Hummer, only to find it vandalized as an obvious "blow for the environment."

All hell breaks loose, to the tune of over 300 comments. Debates on the environment flare up, the rule "thou shalt not mess with thy neighbor's ride" is graven into stone, and everyone who owns even a relatively fuel-efficient car is told to fear vegan bicyclist vandals, who would surely be as justified in such vandalism as these guys were. And that's the sane discussion! (Look for any post by the user Tamp if you want to see the not-so-sane discussion.)

SE doesn't really have the means to link to individual threads in the post, so I can't really point to individual wanks, but the whole damned post is a big sticky mess.


(Firefox users who want to try to follow all the debates -- you poor, crazy fools -- will probably find this Greasemonkey script very helpful. I recommend unchecking the option "Show controls to jump to new comments," though, because it will make the page wicked slow.)
