this post brought to you by the letter "P"
A dog groomer dyes a poodle pink, and posts pics.

A short time later, parabolichobo jumps in with "that is just so completely and utterly wrong."

The owner of the blog, lupaloo, tries a bit of reason.

"War, poverty, crime... and you're worried about the crime of dying a dog pink?
Or maybe by wrong you mean hysterically funny and cool."

parabolichobo then replies "definitely not funny and cool, glad you called it a crime!"

It doesn't go much further, but there is a discusson about the edibility of poodle dye, dogs as fashion accessories, and pink-poodle supporters come out of the woodwork after the whole thing goes down.

Plus, a pink poodle!

It's the Great Pumpkin!

I've a Great Pyrenees (this is what they look like: http://www.dogs-central.com/dogs-puppies/great-pyrenees-dog-puppy/great-pyrenees.jpg) and at one point he was sprayed by a skunk. Now...one of the ways you're supposed to get rid of the stench was to use a tomato juice bath. Well, I gave it a shot. The poor guy was turned bright orange, and of course the treatment didn't work. I found something that did work, but unfortunently the juice had acted like a dye and the colour just wouldn't wash out.

And once again I fail at posting. *head desk* The other half of that was supposed to be:

It as about a week and half before the colour started fading, but during that period he thought he was hot stuff because of all the attention he got. Up until then, I don't think I'd ever seen a dog strut before, but he did. It was hilarious and just in time for Halloween that year. He actually got more attention than the candy I was handing out.

I did have some, but they died with my old computer. :(
I really wish I had that harddrive back.

One of my dogs is half Great Pyrenees (the other is Golden Retriever). After reading this, I was eyeing her in a way she apparently didn't like because I just got the "Dye me and I will cut you, bitch" look. I think she learned that from the cats.

Okay now I have to know what you've did to your cats, that's just sounds too interesting to pass up.

I haven't done anything worse than bathe them when they've gotten into something nasty. That is enough for them to have decided that I am Teh Ebil. They've been bought off with treats, yet I'm still surprised when I come home at night and they haven't managed to form a military dictatorship.

However, my ex-husband had these miniature football helmets that he used as decoration - because he's made of class - and on one drunken occasion decided that they would fit the cats. The cats did NOT appreciate it and showed their irritation by puking on most of his stuff. There's a reason he didn't fight me for feline custody.
