[info]thexphial posts in [info]bad_service that she was charged $4 for sitting at a table in a tex-mex restaurant and not eating. Her family finds this unreasonable, because she had just had her tonsils out and couldn't have eaten the free chips, etc. Yes, the policy is on the menu, but the type is tiny. Also, she thinks they wouldn't waive the fee because she's fat. Cue the special.

FREE MEANS FREE ZOMG
Don't blame the waitress
Not everyone hates fat people
It's definately because you're fat (Further down this thread, there is something about her having posted wankiness in the past)
You are imature and I want to ground you
Don't waste food

And don't share your thoughts on fat people or food wasting in the comments.

ETA: I'm having to turn off notifications for this post with the amount of serious teal dear now that OP has shown up and responded to everything ever.

What about tex-mex? Can we share our thoughts on that? How about grandfathers? Or tonsillectomies? I know, we could all tell stories about our tonsillectomies. That would be keen!

no, i just made that up for a cheap laff.

i was, however, born with extra fingers (the doctor took 'em off when i was a baby, so now i just have these weird nubs on the sides of my pinkies) so the mutant more evolved thing still applies :)

I don't know if I was born tonsil free, but doctors always ask when I had them out, so apparently they either aren't there at all or are too small to be visible.

So my decision to ignore that in favor of the laundry was a good one?

I had to wiki tex-mex, because I'd never heard of it. (I've only ever left New England for the northwest, okay.) I want to try it now.

Do you not have Mexican restaurants at all where you live? No Chili's or any chains?

Most of the stuff that's marketed as "Mexican" food in parts of the US is really more Tex-Mex than real Mexican. You should have it, though. It's delicious.

We sort of have them? I almost went to a Chili's once but it had closed. I had alligator nuggets once, though.

No. :( They put me out completely for the extraction, I guess because I got all four done at once. And I'm a big weenie when it comes to pain.

For afterwards they gave me tylenol with codine. And codine knocks me out.

I had mine out, they numbed half my damn face and had to slice my wisdom teeth into pieces and pull them out one at a time because I had curved hooked roots. :D I especially loved spitting blood, remember that scene in fight club when he smiles with a mouth full of blood? I did that to someone in a store on the way home XD. It was fun.

The good news is I didn't really swell...

Why exactly (or to put it better, under what conditions) would they do that? Because I haven't been to a dentist in over a year and I'm pretty sure mine are bursting in now.

Oh, I know. They're the things that my pediatrician ignored until they got so large that they actually deformed my skull slightly. *g* I had to have speech therapy after my adenoidectomy so I could speak intelligibly again.
