[info]thexphial posts in [info]bad_service that she was charged $4 for sitting at a table in a tex-mex restaurant and not eating. Her family finds this unreasonable, because she had just had her tonsils out and couldn't have eaten the free chips, etc. Yes, the policy is on the menu, but the type is tiny. Also, she thinks they wouldn't waive the fee because she's fat. Cue the special.

FREE MEANS FREE ZOMG
Don't blame the waitress
Not everyone hates fat people
It's definately because you're fat (Further down this thread, there is something about her having posted wankiness in the past)
You are imature and I want to ground you
Don't waste food

And don't share your thoughts on fat people or food wasting in the comments.

ETA: I'm having to turn off notifications for this post with the amount of serious teal dear now that OP has shown up and responded to everything ever.

Soup, jello, and smoothies are good! One of my friends ate baby food, I think that would have been a pleasant change from the endless congee I ended up eating :/

Yogurt is also good. It goes down smooth as can be and is plenty good for you. If you don't like yogurt, try Fage or similar Greek yogurts - it is nothing at all like American yogurts and so</i> yummy with some cinnamon and honey mixed in. Or any other sweet flavor-y thing you care to add. It's incredibly fatty, but what the hell, you won't want to eat enough for a couple of days for the extra fat to hurt you too much anyway (because eating will be a hassle, not because you'll feel ill or anything).

I wish I'd known about Fage when I got my wisdom teeth out. I ate mostly US-made yogurts (which I don't really like) and Campbell's soup (soak bread in soup to give it a little extra heft; you can swallow it without chewing). By the time I was healed up enough to chew, I never wanted to see either of them again. Actually, I still don't, and that was a year and a half ago.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go find out how many more parentheses I can abuse. Yeesh.

Don't underestimate the lovely drugs they give you. I wasn't very hungry and mostly slept for the first few days. I think I had a bit of apple sauce and some tapioca pudding in those days, but can't swear to it. There were empty containers and I don't know who else would have eaten it.

After the first few days food wasn't too tricky. Just aim for things that are relatively easy to chew and not too spicy or acidic. Pie is totally valid and yummy.

Don't get too terrified. You may get lucky. I was able to eat solid foods with almost no pain the day after having all four of mine out.

I think I got back on canned food on the third day. The first day I spent asleep. XD The second was yogurt (also good for repopulating your gut after the antibacterials you'll have to take) and my neighbor's chicken soup, which is the best incarnation of chicken soup on the planet.

Then I had Spaghetti-O's for the rest of the week. :D
