I. Um. Wot?

Strangest wank I've seen in a while. Clever troll, or really whacked-out person? You decide.

If you can't afford to buy a house that guarantees that your children don't have to share a room, don't have more children than you have bedrooms. No, srsly.

Srsly, if your children have to share a room, give them to someone more capable of taking care of them.

HEY NOW YOU ARE TWISTING MY WORDS!

Thank you for educating us, [info]teresina. o.O

It's sort of odd. To understand our sleeping arrangements, it's important to note we lived in a huge farmhouse which wasn't meant to be lived in during all four seasons. It was a... vacation house. Such as it were.

I had my own room, that I recall, and my sister had hers (or did we share? I don't remember...) and my brothers sort of shared a room, but there was a rather odd, flimsy "wall" between their rooms which didn't quite hit the top, so we used to throw toys over top of it, or play "volley ball", stuff like that.

When we renovated, we stayed in trailers. My parents bought two sets of bunk beds, one for my sister and I's room, one for the boys' room. When the house was done being renovated, my sister got the whole bunk bed, and put toys on the part she didn't sleep on, I got a different bed, and they split the boys' bunk beds, so they each had a single. Those mattresses, for the record, sucked ass.

Also, because I watch too much children's tv, the Berenstain Bear kids share a room, with bunk beds, and I'm pretty sure the kids in Ms Spider do too. e.e;

I remember wondering what prompted Gramps and Gran to name their kid 'Papa'.

But then, when I was a kid it used to really bug me when characters in books had no names. So I started naming them myself. The kid in The Polar Express I named Joshua. And the kid in The Witches was Matthew.

When they made the movie out of The Witches, they called the kid 'Luke'. My mom laughed and said I was only a couple of gospels off.

I did that when I was a kid! I slept on one bed in the bunk bed, and my toys slept on the other. :-p
