I. Um. Wot?

Strangest wank I've seen in a while. Clever troll, or really whacked-out person? You decide.

If you can't afford to buy a house that guarantees that your children don't have to share a room, don't have more children than you have bedrooms. No, srsly.

Srsly, if your children have to share a room, give them to someone more capable of taking care of them.

HEY NOW YOU ARE TWISTING MY WORDS!

Thank you for educating us, [info]teresina. o.O

Yes? (And before you ask, no, there aren't any multiples.) Seven boys, six girls. I'm the baby.

Wasn't going to ask. Too busy gaping like a fish trying to imagine the logistics. Going places, eating out, etc. What's the age range?

Family trips must have been interesting. Do you have a really big van or little bus or some such?

(If I'm being nosy, don't answer and that's cool. I was an only child and am CF, and just can't conceive of that many kids in one house. Hell, I can't conceive of that many college students in one house either. :P)

Age ranges are 30-43 (I think my eldest bro turns 44 in December... or is his birthday in January? Don't remember.)

Family trips? I don't really remember many. Also, my Mother's concept of "eating out" was a picnic. The few "trips" I remember, they took two station wagons (Dad drove one, and eldest boy at home drove the other). And about the only places I remember going were the zoos we lived near, and to my grandparents' farm.

We had a lot of hand-me-downs (the only new thing we all got was shoes), shopped at thrift stores, Mom stayed home, did all her own cooking/baking/canning/gardening/etc. We all shared rooms and the bathroom. The only real "fighting" about that that I remember was everytime someone went away to university/the military, the resulting shuffle of bedrooms caused a few tiffs.

But then, I was kicked out at 16 so I dunno what happened after that (There were still four girls at home, between uni/high school). I don't mind answering honest questions. Especially when they're out of honest curiosity. XD

... That and I always giggle at only children/CFs reactions to finding out that I'm the youngest of 13.

I'm the youngest of 3 and there are times when I want to strangle my older sisters. I can't imagine 12 before me and Mum wanted 12 kids, of which I would have still been the youngest.

Hah. We sound like we had very similar childhoods!

Eating out? What eating out? Dad would be all, "We'll eat when we get home!" And if he DID buy us drinks, we'd have to share the cans of coke.

But Christmas and holidays were never dull. I always had someone to play with. I never had an imaginary friend cause seriously - who needs an imaginary friend when she has two younger siblings to play with, and four older kids to watch do cool stuff? (Helen would play piano or guitar or paint pictures, my brother Paul had epic Lego battles in his room, my sisters Lisa was playing flute or getting ready to go out somewhere, and Cati was also painting pictures. Sometimes she'd get me to help!).
