evilgrins delivered a list of bogus food terms to the food_porn community which was kind of amusing but the last definition...

arab coffee: Thick, black, bitter coffee, traditionally served in tiny cups at gunpoint.

...really inspired some, uh, debate.

likeawoman is accused of being likeatroll for staying determinedly offended by everyone but obfuscate brings up Godwins first. "If you replace "arab coffee" with "matzo" is it an insult to Jews? "Haggis" (I hear it's good, but what the hell.. who came up with that?), and it's a comment on how violent those damn Scots are? Put "borscht" in there and you're pissing on the Slavs? "Liverwurst" would then, I suppose, mean that all Germans are violent Nazis."

Nobody likes a laugh more than me. Except for my wife. And Mrs. Johnson.

	Yes! Go ninjas! I believe we decided that, if Martha fans are ninjas, then Donna fans must be pirates, so I am actually a ninja-pirate. Go me some more! And don't worry; it won't make much more sense even after you've seen Series 3. It didn't even make much sense during the wank. Just go with it, you'll be fine. And possibly a ninja! Oh but all the Rose fans decided that *they* were the Pirates. And that put me in a perilous spot. Because though I have no real feeling against Rose (she's perfectly lovely) I most certainly don't ship her and Ten in any great detail other than "AWww, HUGS TIME!" cause, well... dude. She looks like my niece.

Yet the only ninjas I'm really down with are the Ninja Turtles. I hate that stupid ninja guy on Youtube and I think Pirates are just ridiculously cooler.

It'd be great if the Donna fans pillaged the "pirate" title cause I'd be more than happy to be the Martha Death Squad's token Pirate. I could even be a Ninja Turtle Pirate.
