Over in hp_britglish, schemingreader makes the mistake of asking what the stuff you spread on top of a cake is called. Hint: It ain't "frosting".

oncelikeshari thinks that butter icing is evil and wrong and should be stopped, or that it doesn't exist. I'm not entirely sure.

Either way, I want cake. :(

	You and me both! There oughta be an Ex-Floridians Missing Publix support group. (Their cake, and their ice cream! Just plain old Publix chocolate ice cream is better than just about anything else. If it's from the same maker as a name brand, I've never found it.) (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Well, if you are in the group of people that has Facebook, there are groups devoted to Publix. Otherwise, I don't know.

And yes, the ice cream! I can appreciate the chocolate, though I'm not a big chocolate fan, but the peach is awesome. And vanilla. And the cherry blackjack one with the dark chocolate bits. And the peanut butter chocolate cup one. Okay, so I like chocolate with other stuff. But still. Also, they now have this awesome peach mango passionfruit sorbet stuff. My mother taunts me with regular updates from her Publix shopping. She's coming to visit next month and sneaking me many things in her luggage.

No Facebook, but really I think I need the sort of "support group" that provides me with black-market smuggled Publix treats.

Mmm, peach mango passion fruit?! My parents are coming up for Thanksgiving; maybe I need to put a few things on their shopping list... (This wank has now made me hungry for several different types of cake and lots and lots of ice cream, none of which I can have right now. Woe!)
