Our 18-pound Meep had to have stitches, so just those areas were shaved. Meep is a short-hair, but his fur is very thick. We kind of like him with close-cut fur. I also think it will take about 6 pounds off his weight if we were to shave him. But that's an awful lot of money just for the lulz.
