Oh, God. These stories are almost making me thankful for my school.

Not that I had too many horrible teachers (the ones who were awful were few, and the ones who went off on other topics at least came back to their own and didn't push all their beliefs on us... though one is criticized a lot for not teaching well, but I liked her, so. :P), but... less than shiny administration.

My brother, though, walked out on one of his classes when a substitute... History teacher, I want to say? Anyway, she started going on about her political views instead of teaching the class. That earned him the first detention anyone in our family ever got (but not the last! I believe the other one was my younger brother walking out on a Tech teacher for... something or other. Being a douchebag, generally).

	Also, this is making me sad that my friends have turned away from Education-based studies. I know they'd be cool teachers, and I can only hope some non-asshat will be a teacher in their places. (Reply to this)(Parent)
