Go off in the corner with your roast beef sandwich, while we build a better World.
Meanie cow-raping school district fires bold rebel for secretly teaching veganism in art class, instead of, um, art.

The former teacher, Dave Warwak, leaves no news article combox untouched in his quest, under the name inslidedotcom.

"teach them how Artists shape and guide morals in society With this knowledge, they can deal with the real world Use their art to create positive change Live longer Heal the earth I model what I teach I have been railroaded Posts removed You celebrate I appeal You pay Meat and Dairy laughs I cry"

Poetry.

And as his combox name might suggest, he has a website.

Yes, this is the man I want to teach MY children about art.

Edit: I turned off comment notification (ow, my inbox) so if anyone has any links to this guy wanking elsewhere (since he's wanked in two news articles at least, I'm sure there's more and will be more) please drop a comment in [info]joye's journal and I'll edit the post. Thanks.

(Late to the party, I know!)

For the most part, all my teachers had been generally cool. Except maybe the last few ones in my high school years.

9 to 12th grades: Had this English teacher who was the track coach and instead of teaching English, we'd talk about The Bachelor. Most of the teachers I had were coaches of some sport if not assistant coaches. I remember this one Algebra teacher was always and I mean always pregant. A World History teacher royally pissed me off. One of the students that was on his team actually got a better test grade then I did -- and I studied and actually turned in my work (which were correct on top of that)! He cheated with my answers! I was glad to leave that class.

9 to 10th grades: Choir teacher. He was a bit of a hardass but one time he actually argued with a student on why she should come to school. Though he did win points with me when he said before we watched Jesus Christ Superstar: "If you're going to be offended by a damn musical, GTFO." Well, he didn't say it like that, but you get the gist of it. XD

12th grade: My Economics teacher would talk about how gays shouldn't adopt, why gays are against the morals of Christainity, etc etc. Oh, he was also an uber Republican and kept trying to uh "share" his ideas on how to improve our economy (especially with those gays around adopting children!) and how to handle our money. Needless to say, I almost failed that class.

12th grade again: A College Prep. teacher of mine always yelled at us for no reason. She even banned me from drawing. I had finished my work and since I had nothing else to do (yay senoritis!), I just started to draw. She threw a hissy fit and banned me (and threntened me to send me to the Assistant's Principal's office dare I ever draw again!) She always used to yell at us for no reason, and even yelled at us to do our work when ... we were doing our work. She would also get really possessive about her plants. Oh, don't even bring a cell phone to her class! But it's okay if she has it. After all, she has a family and animals to care for. Jesus. I'm glad I was out of that psycho's class.

Oh!

Crazy teacher in middle school.

There was this one Geography teacher who assigned us a project during Spring Break (as in we had to do the project during spring break) and expected it done on the day we came back. She singled me out because my parents had took that issue to the school board and started to treat me like shit for the rest of the school year. It didn't help when I was trying out for the tennis team (she also happened to coach that), they kept trying to hit me with the tennis balls. -puts on tin hat-

Horrah for psycho teachers?
