Lolcats wank!

Somebody posted a picture of a kitten sitting near some fake plants, with the caption "'Nam cat... has flashbacks." A 250+ comment argument ensued about whether or not this was tasteless and offensive. Most of it is fairly polite, but the attempts to discuss Very Serious Issues at great length in lolcatspeak kind of broke my brain.

I posted a couple of comments under my real name, but I don't think they were especially wanky and they didn't cause much of a reaction, so I didn't think this needed to be in i_wank. But if you guys think I should move it I will.
