The one I was thinking of is all in french, alas. Much fun about people not wanting to divulge the location of a specific rarety sighting on grounds that they didn't want to disturb the birds, yada yada . . . and then they turned around and told some of the BNB (Big Name Birders. XD ) There was some incredibly vicious wank about that, even more so because everyone on the mailing list knew everyone else semi-personally.
