Wank was born in one of my childfree posts... I'm so proud. *sniffles* It has nothing to do with childfreeness or children at all, and I almost posted it to

fandom_wank because of the yaoi aspect, but decided it was more non-fandom in nature.

First, yaoipimp mentions offhand in an otherwise on-topic comment that a) she is a lesbian and b) she likes yaoi.

girlmecha can't deal with this, and decides to inform every lesbian who has ever had any positive feelings about a man's appearance that they've been referring to themselves by the wrong sexual orientation all these years.

Wank, of course, ensues.

Watch out for girlmecha's interesting ideas about ~~semantics~~ terminology, and piroshki's reference to "hot, steaming intercourse... with a farm machine".

It's not a huge wank, and ends rather peacefully, but I indirectly gave rise to it, and so I will love it as I would love my own child-- oh, right, never mind. :P

I think GirlMecha is just deeply confused and incapable of being comfortable without pigeonholing her pigeonholes. It's all quite sad, really. Oh, well, maybe someday she'll get the help she needs. Because no one could possibly tell the difference between 'oh he's cute' and 'oh I wish I was his girlfriend' feelings.

My problem with lesbians liking and writing slash/yaoi is . . . where's the femslash? C'mon, you like women, you could do this too. Gosh darn, help us fight the power or something.
