I would think there'd be more Jews with German names in Argentina. I know we have some family there somewhere, though I have no idea if they still have German names.

Oh, there are but the ones that got to be 'The German' were the non-Jewish German immigrants. But, most times, German surnames (or certain kind of German surnames) are linked to Jews too so they get called 'Russians'.
I never said our Popular Geography made any sense. XP
