I was going to post with an incredulous "she asked how to whip cream???", but then going by the comments I've seen, I am reminded that not everyone had the same uber-cool Home Ec class I did and I was being snooty. For the record? My current favorite way to make it is with an immersion blender that has a whisk attachment, because it takes barely a minute and a half and you don't have to do much but hold the blender in the cream.
