stubby kitties --> miniwank
Cute Overload, in addition to being full of cute animals, is often also full of wank. Most posts contain at least one accusation of animal cruelty, and this one, about a Scottish Fold cat with exceptionally stubby legs, is no exception.

Comments about animal breeding begin on the very first comment and only continue down the thread.

Adopt a shelter cat!

This sucks. Animal-cruelty is what it is.

CAPSLOCK OF EMPHASIS!

None of us would advocate breaking puppies' legs just because they can look really cute in casts.

I don't know about you, but I plan to go break some puppy legs later this afternoon!

KITTONS.

(STFU, stupid wankers. Those cats are clearly healthy and loved. It's not their owner's fault you can't look at their soft, full, shiny fur, clear eyes, and romping around after toys/siblings/housemates/that spot on the wall and tell that. It's like that previous CO wank where the chick was CLEARLY torturing her talky Meezer by bathing him, because none of them have ever heard a Siamese meow, apparently.)

Long cat story...

Wow, really?

(My mother has a part-Siamese we rescued from the shelter. He looks like a normal domestic shorthair cat with dark ears and tail, but we know he's part Siamese because of his bright blue eyes and the fact he has the most piercing meow. The time he got stuck in a tree and we couldn't coax him down or get the ladder up to rescue him until the morning after, I thought the neighbors were going to kill us, since he'd start meowing whenever he heard people. The cat still doesn't remember that he gets stuck in trees -- he meows constantly if we don't let him out.)

Oh man, do they ever.
I had a boyfriend with a Siamese. Even when we were giving her food, she meowed as if we were poking her with branding irons. (Or so I imagine. I've never actually poked anything with a branding iron.)
