Perfume can kill
In fatshionista, a community devoted to fat-positive fashion, rosewelsh makes a post (which was accidentally okayed by a mod) asking people to be careful with perfume and other scents because of those like her that are "deathly allergic" to scent.

Reactions are mixed - some people agree with her, some people think that she's overreacting, and quite a few question what it has to do with fat fashion. It quickly devolves into a discussion about whether or not multiple chemical sensitivity really exists, whether or not the community is a "safe space", and whether or not the responders are bitches.

There are also comments comparing perfume to second hand smoke and contrasting the community reaction to her post to one that an openly gay person would receive if they dared reveal themselves.

It ends(?) with a flounce.

Bonus points for grammar nazisnitpickers who oppress the learning disabled.

ETA: Bahleeted! My thanks to athy and julian_black for the save.

ETAA: Modhammer falls.

Hey... to completely veer off-topic did it ever occur to you that a few of us who have a hard time with spelling and grammar might actually have a learning disability? Jeebus!

Personally, I feel if you're going to attempt to disguise your own complete inadequacy with transparent excuses, "Gawd!" should be your pussified religious expletive of choice. It's what all the magazines are doing this spring. Nobody is caught dead in "Jeebus!" anymore.
