	I wonder if that cat has the "obesity gene". There are mice out there that are genetically altered such that they look proportionally like that cat when compared to a normal mouse, so I suppose it could happen in a cat too. People who like animals seem to be very good at wank. My mom joined a bunch of bird and reptile groups online in the last year, and she keeps getting in internet battles. Every little thing incites war, from "Keeping geese outdoors is cruelty!" to "Bearded Dragons need high quality calcium sand or you're abusing them!"

What is with all the people who sound like they think cats are too stupid know when they are not hungry anymore? We leave food out for our indoor cats all the time, and they get canned food once a day. They've never gorged them selves. Even our barn cats who only get a big heap of dry food once a day don't gorge them selves. They eat what they want, go, and come back if they get hungry again later.

Sort of off topic but while were talking about cats does anyone else have a cat that insist on taking showers with them?

I haven't looked at the page, and I won't, because I know it will make me mad.

But seeing morbidly obese pets and children is just as appalling to me as seeing a pet or child with bones sticking out from severe starvation.

Both are forms of abuse, and anyone whose like 'I overfeed my cat because I love him' oh please, you're sending your kitty to an early death, and that cat should be taken away from you for it's own safety. (same with children, although, that's one hell of a huge can of worms socially).
