It always amazes me how even ridiculous amounts of cute cannot stop the internet from wanking. What does it take, people?

'Course, this may be justified in this example, but Cute Overload wank just confuzzles me in general.

And since we're all sharing, my cat is on free-feed and I can't get her over eight pounds, though I'm sure trying!

Ah, I knew I'd seen a macro with a cat that looked a lot like the Cute Overload one:

I'd say they were the same breed.

Oh please. Who cares if it lives long? It's just a cat. Go worry about something important, like abused kids, climate change, or why the price of chocolate keeps going up.

Call me an oversensitive animal lover, but I felt like strangling the fucker when I saw that. Twenty bucks says he doesn't even give a shit about abused kids, climate change or the price of chocolate, too.

Round cat is round.

I suspect he's go either Mainie or Norwegian Forest Cat ancestry. He's not just rotund, he's ENORMOUS.

Some cats just get large. My aunt L's Turkish Van, Spike, is on a regulated diet and she's still all fluff and pudge.

Orazio's 'egads!' expression just killed me though. Aww XD

I've always been able to leave dry food out and the cats don't gorge - they just come and go as they please. If I put out something extra tasty like tuna or something, they're all over it. One of them will even leave a portion of that uneaten, though, which the other one polishes off. The "other one" in question is a twelve-week-old kitten, however - not exactly known for their moderation skillz.

Showers...oh yeah. My last cat, Archie, used to sit on the end of the bath, out of the spray, and just...watch. His sister Chester (long story) likes to sit IN the bath, but on the outside of the shower curtain so she stays relatively dry. I just have a big lump of cat on my foot for the duration. The new kitten, Starbuck, is just learning the joys of joining Mummy in the shower, as well. Odd little critters.

I just boggle at this. My own cat is a very petite Siamese who weighs a grand total of 5 lbs on her heavy days. She's not thin at all, she's just tiny. I'm so used to seeing her that even normal sized cats look huge to me. I can't even imagine seeing that cat.

That kitty reminds me of this cat. Don't know if you guys recall, but said kitty was the one that got stuck in a doggy door.
