Oh, yes, if there's one thing I've learned it's that Siamese are barrels of personality. My parents have two who will politely use my dad as a seat, one across his shoulders and one on his knee, as he eats dinner waiting for dinner. I used to have a spoiled Himalayan who caught a bat in my parents' living room. And they have one right now, Tucker, who is also sweet as could be and completely stupid -- he's totally obsessed with this string on a stick that my parents have had forever, and I'm pretty sure that if a robber ever broke into the house, he'd walk right up to the guy and drop the toy in front of him all, "Oh, good, someone new is here to play with me."

My mother haaaaaates that "Siamese cats are mean" stereotype. Every time she talks about it up at the house, she says, "Oh, yeah, they're horribly evil," usually while she's lying on the couch covered in purring happy cats. :)

I am currently in posession of 2 Siamese. One isn't necessarily mean, she's just skittish and a bit arrogant. The other is my baby. Sleeps with me, loves me, plays all cute and innocent. Not the least bitchy to anyone about anything.

It's all dependent on the cat. I hadn't intended to criticize the bitchy one earlier for being Siamese, it's just with the coloring, she looks like a baby seal with her fat butt.
