Japanese-style bento lunches I'm sorry but I can't figure out what a 'bento' is and why is it Japanese-style? I looked at the entry and I'm thinking that perhaps a bento is the plastic container holding the food? I never heard of this term. As for the cute lunch choices, my students (kindergarten, 5-6-year olds) would totally love the variety and presentation. I can also say that they would not tease another student who came in with that style of a snack or lunch, at least not in my experience. I often praise the students who A) have their snack in a reusable container (eco-friendly ftw!) and B) bring in healthy snacks so I approve of this post. :p The only thing I see possibly presenting a problem, and the OP eventually noticed it too, is that in some cases, there were too many choices. Kids sometimes feel they need to eat all of it even if they are full or they don't have enough time to finish. [/my thoughts] Post a comment in response: |
