Hermit crabs, even more interesting when transparent.
Over on wtf_nature on LJ, someone posts a picture of a hermit crab in a transparent shell. It's kind of cool and freaky all at once.

electricube is bothered by this. Very bothered. Se proceeds to wank about animal rights, toxic poison, and what bettas really need for an environment. In great and astonishing length.

But wait, there's more! Bettas are awesome and you can teach them how to read. Watch as sarcasm completely escapes this girl, and then her boyfriend leaps in to defend her!

	Yeah, it's coming from both sides--she's calling them murderers for eating meat and they're taunting her; but she's taking herself way too seriously--and that's why this is funny. 	Alot of really hardcore vegans see any sort of vaguely implied possibility of an animal maybe being sort of mistreated as a lead in to the grossness of the meat farming industry. Throwing around the word "murderer" is something my fellow whack jobs do too often. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
