Hermit crabs, even more interesting when transparent.
Over on wtf_nature on LJ, someone posts a picture of a hermit crab in a transparent shell. It's kind of cool and freaky all at once.

electricube is bothered by this. Very bothered. Se proceeds to wank about animal rights, toxic poison, and what bettas really need for an environment. In great and astonishing length.

But wait, there's more! Bettas are awesome and you can teach them how to read. Watch as sarcasm completely escapes this girl, and then her boyfriend leaps in to defend her!

	I've raised my cats to be independent free thinkers who aren't responsible on me for a damn thing. They've learned to balance work and play time so as not to stress themselves and yet still bring home enough food to keep themselves fed, which clearly can't be said about your cat. 	My cat loves her work. Her work makes her strong and proud. She finds meaning and excitement in hunting, and she's squirreling away some for later, usually under the coffee table.
