Hermit crabs, even more interesting when transparent.
Over on wtf_nature on LJ, someone posts a picture of a hermit crab in a transparent shell. It's kind of cool and freaky all at once.

electricube is bothered by this. Very bothered. Se proceeds to wank about animal rights, toxic poison, and what bettas really need for an environment. In great and astonishing length.

But wait, there's more! Bettas are awesome and you can teach them how to read. Watch as sarcasm completely escapes this girl, and then her boyfriend leaps in to defend her!

Humans are not entitled to harm animals of other species in the pursuit of reducing harm to their own species. If we had a few more diseases culling out weak humans, perhaps we wouldn't be dealing with a staggering overpopulation crisis that will likely kill us one way or another.

I like this idea. In fact, I think we need to give electricube rabies and see how well this theory works. It's all in the name of science and culling out weak humans, after all!

	I do what I can. Originally, I was going to give her pneumonia but then I remembered that I survived it without medicine (because no one realized it was pneumonia until it had run its course) so I thought it would be better to have one of her fuzzy woodland friends give her rabies and then see how anti-medicine she was.
