Best Letter Ever
Over on the blog That Canadian Girl, a post appears about a friend of the blogger who recently drained a pond behind his new house and found a very odd letter. Many commenters find the humor in this, but then of course, there are those who find something to argue about. You'll find cries of "omg you destroyed the pond" and "shut up, it was for the children!" And of course, "your spelling sux!" Enjoy!

That seriously is the best letter ever.

But OMG. Once again I've been confronted by the overwhelming stupidity and obnoxiousness of people.

Also, as an Aussie, I always thought 'whinging' and 'whining' were two completely separate words, meaning something similar but not exactly the same. For example, I use and have heard others use, the expression: 'Having a whinge and a whine.'

*wants to punch the Amero-centrism of the person who insisted it was respect for spelling Nazis to spell it the American way*

Wait. 'Whinge' and 'whine' aren't two different words?

They mean the same thing, and they're etymologically related, but they are two different words.

See, that's what I thought.

*is relieved*

I hate discovering that you've been using words wrong for years. Although it does tend to explain some weird looks I get from time to time...
