Friend of mine works in the business: I strongly suspect these calls are staged. One, they sound a little too professionally produced. Especially that Starbucks one. There's no way that a person talking in the background (the manager) would be picked up by a cellphone and then broadcast over the radio that clearly. Two, stalkers in radio are a lot more common than you think, and most radio stations have policies against making comedy fodder out of them. Three, on a Calgary radio station like that, every phone call is recorded during a song, and then played on the air. They are not live, despite what the listeners think.
