Coffeewank!
This is an example of the wailing and gnashing of teeth that can ensue when you take coffee too seriously. Or, depending on which side you take, what happens when you don't take it seriously enough.

Jeff Simmermon of the And I Am Not Lying blog wanted an iced triple espresso from Murky Coffee in DC. He's informed that it's against Murky's policy to serve iced espresso, and when he orders the espresso and a cup of ice, he's told that "What you’re about to do … that’s really, really Not Okay." Simmermon takes exception to the barista's attitude, posts about it on his blog, and also shows the tip he left at Murky. The comments explode, some taking sides with Simmermon, others with the barista; the blog post ends up  linked on BoingBoing; and the owner of Murky responds with a highly unambiguous "Fuck you, Jeff Simmermon".

Insert joke here about everyone needing to lay off the caffeine.

What is a 'graveyard'? All of the left over stuff mixed together?

Just a bit of each fountain drink, in equal portions. At my theater, Coke, Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Pibb Xtra, Fanta Orange, Barq's, Hi-C Pink Lemonade, Hi-C Fruit Punch, and seltzer water.

Oh, I used to do that all the time when I drank soda. Never knew there was a name to it because I figured it was just me being a weird little cheap ass.

Oooh, I liked doing that as a kid. Coke and lemonade is actually kinda nice.

My friends and I also partook in The Mystery Drink and dared others to try it.

I still do that. Coke and lemonade, Coke and iced tea, iced tea and lemonade. All tasty.

We tend not to think of cola as anything but "cola-flavored", but lemon is actually a big part of it.

There's a German soft drink I quite liked called Spezi, which as best as I could tell was a commercially available blend of cola and lemonade (the clear, fizzy, European kind). I got to be very fond of it during the month I spent there.

I recently had to make my first suicide/graveyard at the theater I work in (popcorn slaves represent =p).

The woman was very specific about what the proportions should be, though: 1/4 pepsi, 1/4 root beer, and 1/2 orange slice. She made me pour it out. Twice.

o_O Wow. I've never had anyone be that picky. Well, not about their drink, anyway... although I do like when they decide after it's been filled that they want to change the size/drink.
