I know it because of my psychic learnings
Over in the little_details community, chibiyaoichan asks if twins can actually manifest each other's physical pain.

The consensus of the community is "no, not in real life."

This doesn't sit well with icedmaple, who is a psychic and has proof that she found on the internet which consists entirely of personal anecdotes.

Then she has a little fit on her journal. Twice.

How dare you not delete her comments in order to prove that she's irrational? That's just mean, kutsuwamushi. >:(

A Kansas public school board tried to add it a few years ago. They were swiftly voted out, though. It seems that there are fewer people wanting pseudoscience being taught in schools then the Religious Right would want you to believe.

I think the Kansas school board was actually just trying to take evolution out of the curriculum and not say anything about it either way, and they still got laughed at by the rest of the country and eventually voted the school board out. Kansas has gone back and forth a lot of times on evolution anyway. ID has gotten the smackdown from a federal court, and the decision was pretty sweeping so nobody's probably going to try that again.
