Entry tags:baleeted, cancerous potatoes, comment orgy?, community: hip domestics

Everything causes cancer!
For example, potatoes!

So does hip_domestics, apparently.

But does spam? (If it does, I may be dying. Send lipgloss.)

ETA: DAMMIT it's already been deleted. :(

Discuss cancer and potatoes in the comments.

Reminds me of that email that was going around years ago.

What email? *deeply curious*

I got an email from a few friends saying that a whole bunch of stuff could give you cancer, including eating prawns or something.

I wish I'd kept that email now. At the time, I just laughed and hit delete.

It's the internet. If we looked hard enough, we could find EVERYTHING EVER POSTED here.

snopes? Although I've been through that site before and nothing triggered any memories.

Now I'm very tempted to go and find it.

Well that was good for some lulz, even as I was headdesking in the classic stop-being-on-my-side sort of way.

(Seriously, 'cause I do think we get exposed to too much crap thanks to todays' chemicals/fast food/plastic/etc etc. But this sure doesn't help make the case except in the batshit completely crazy kind of way.

I think we get exposed to a lot of crap that we shouldn't too, but misinformation on this scale is just lulz. It's even more funny coz I actually know those chemicals it goes on about so much.

Your nick keeps making me think you're a Hunter - I've been playing FFTA2 too much lately =X

You know those noodles. Turn your back on 'em and it's off with the bowtie. But then, they didn't have far to falle.

I seem to have the wrong thread.

Ah, if only I had punnyness to share. Instead, it all has to be converted into "please accept me into your law school."

Now I'm thinking wanton potato noodles with seductive eyes.

...yum, potato noodles spaghetti. I just made that connection. ^^;

Snopes is an everlasting fount of entertainment. I used to reply back to people who forwarded scams and stuff to me with a link from Snopes. Maybe that's why I don't get them anymore...

I should do that to Mom... Wouldn't stop those "say a prayer for x" chain letters, though.

But it's okay if you eat a cucumber or drink cold water afterwards, coz they have anti-cancer agents! :D

I'll probably be riddled with cancer - I love my prawns and potato chips XD

What if I only have hot water? Is there some kind of timeframe I need to take it by, or will the cancer bugs get me before it has a chance to cool?

Dude, do you think Aussies drink WATER at BBQ parties? Unless beer has anti-cancer agents, we're so fucked.

(Except me. Hahaha, that's what you get for mocking my dislike of alcohol!)

You haven't heard? Alcohol is the cure for everything!

I still hate the taste of beer though. And I was born here. =(

Apparently yes. Except hangovers.

Dude, tell me about it. I hate the taste of ALL alcohol. Try explaining THAT to people down here.
