Sadly, this is not necessarily a viable option. My cats take deep offence at being locked out of any of the rooms in my tiny appartment. If I close the bathroom door, they will spend all day clawing at it to try and open the thing, and cause some rather unpleasent damage. There is an inch of paint missing from the bottom of my bedroom door for precicely that reason.

But I live alone, so I can leave the toilet completely shut all I darn well want. :P

	Squeaky-butt does that to the floor in front of a door when he wants in. He seems to have figured out that someone'll come open it to stop the noise, if not to protect the carpet. (Reply to this)(Parent)
