Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:brush-a brush-a brush-a brush me, i wanna feel dirty, microwave of the night

Riding on the wave of the toilet flush...
Nuke those toothbrush germs!

I wish I could link to individual comments directly; instead, let's try this:

#4: The first voice of dissent.
#6: What do I do with an electric toothbrush?
#11: What do I do without a microwave? Provide alternative plz.
#12: Why would they provide an alternative?
#14: I'm a dentist and I approve of this message.
#17: Remove the battery from your electric toothbrush, DUH.
#26: I'M A DENTIST AND I DISAPPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE.
#51: My battery is sealed in, dumbass.
#57: The First Ammendment says you have to provide the alternative!
#64: This is as stupid as Obama's tax plan.
#69: Enter citations!
#71: Winner.

And then it gets better: it's a government plot, it's the fault of CHINA, inexplicable invocation of Dick Cheney, let me show off the brand of my toothbrush! 110 comments and counting. [ETA: Bizarre science at #121!]

This is the official thread for telling us about your toothbrush.

I'll start! Mine has probably achieved sentience by now. Never mind the high-tech sterilization, does anyone actually replace their toothbrush every X months? It seems like diligence and brainpower that could be used on something far better... like getting David Bowie on, oh, any show he likes.

I replace mine when the batteries wear out -- because I'm too damn lazy to replace them.

This is me. I have a 'home' brush which probably gets covered in all kinds of stuff despite its plastic cap because I'm away so much, and a 'travel' brush which tends to be found at the bottom of various bags and which must be a health hazard of its own by now.

I got one of those ones with the blue stripe so I'll know when it needs replacing. I like new toothbrushes - they look so tidy.

You think your toothbrush is bad? My toothbrush achieved sentience a few months ago and attempts to scream and run every time I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Fortunately thus far the chains have stopped it!

I buy the big sale package of teethbreesh at Target every spring and fall, so they're easy to change.

The last bunch I got have those little gum cleaner things on them. I took the sample patch off the package and stuck it on my computer's black-on-black power button. Now I can find it in the dark.

It's what McGyver would have done.

I will be stealing the word teethbreesh and using it at every moment that is even slightly relevant

I buy a big old bunch pack and change them when I remember. Which is...varying times.

That said, I fully endorse more brainpower being allotted to putting David Bowie on every more TV shows. :D

I use the free tooth brushes that my dentist gives me when I go in for a cleaning. I tend to hoard them, actually.

Ditto.

Though two times out of three she's switched to a new kind that won't fit in my toothbrush caddy. >_

I have two! One is the "old" one, which I had last year and which is still perfectly useable, and one is an electric one my father and dentist both seem to think I need. Which one I use depends on how tired I am.
