	It has never melted my toothbrush or my contact cases. I don't take it all the way to a rolling boil, just the simmer-point where the little tiny bubbles break to the surface. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Boiling outright might kill the toothbrush as well, but pouring boiling water over it works decently. It's an old way to sterilise baby equipment, too. (Reply to this)(Parent)
