My husband is not allowed to clean toilets. Why? Because I discovered after two years of sharing this duty that he was using the toilet brush to close the toilet brush holder. Why? Because the holder was unclean, because it contained something that had been in the toilet and he didn't want to touch the holder with his hands. "But that's why you take care not to let toilet water get on the outside. So that the germs remain contained! That's the whole point of having it in a container!"
