Gay marriage wank? In MY community?
A secret about prop 8 is posted to this post in Fandom secrets. And we get twofold wank for it, too!

Wank #1: FOMG HOW IS THIS NOT A 'NOT-SECRET' THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FANDOM WHATSOEVER! This one is small, though, because the modly type froze the comments.

Wank #2: Gay is wrong. No u! No u! NO U! NO U! And that's all within the first three pages.

Also, liking het means you hate gay marriage. Srsly. And there's macros. And people loling over all the wank this caused. And there's also a thread of d'awwww.

I chose to post it here instead of fandom wank because almost all of the arguments were not fandom related. And there was even an argument about that, too!

But there are ALREADY equal rights. Everyone has the same right as everyone else- to marry a consenting adult person of the opposite sex. Pedophiles don't have the right to marry young children. Zoophiles do not have the right to marry dogs. While homosexuality is not anything like the paraphilias, that doesn't change the fact that a straight person does not have the right to marry someone of the same sex. What you are asking for is for homosexuals to be made "more equal". That's not right.

	I saw that post. It broke my brain. Especially because it totally ignores the obvious logical point (well, MULTIPLE logical points, of course) that if same sex marriage was made legal, straight people WOULD have the right to marry someone of the same sex.
