Gay marriage wank? In MY community?
A secret about prop 8 is posted to this post in Fandom secrets. And we get twofold wank for it, too!

Wank #1: FOMG HOW IS THIS NOT A 'NOT-SECRET' THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FANDOM WHATSOEVER! This one is small, though, because the modly type froze the comments.

Wank #2: Gay is wrong. No u! No u! NO U! NO U! And that's all within the first three pages.

Also, liking het means you hate gay marriage. Srsly. And there's macros. And people loling over all the wank this caused. And there's also a thread of d'awwww.

I chose to post it here instead of fandom wank because almost all of the arguments were not fandom related. And there was even an argument about that, too!

And even if you don't allow same-sex couples to marry, it's not like (leaving aside the fact that insemination is totally doable and being done) keeping them from marrying each other is going to somehow force them to marry the opposite sex and pop out a couple kids.

(Besides, with all the thousands of children out there still in need of parents? I'm thinking this whole "continuance of the human race" thing is going a little too well.)
