Nobody I know has ever used the word vainglorious or vainglory, and I know plenty of writing-type people.

Let's translate:

My world is tiny and I have no desire to expand it. Neither should anyone else, especially "writing-type people"! I am threatened by people who point out my ignorance, which I will disguise with pithy remarks and contempt. My RP is too cool for people who know how to use Real Words!

It'd be sad if it wasn't so damn hilarious, lol.
