Words are hard :(
And now, the newest addition to the short list of words that don't exist: vainglorious.

What gets me about cases like these is that the people complaining are doing so on their computers. I don't know about them, but my browser has a google toolbar right in it. When I encounter a word I don't know, before rather than mouthing off about it, I copy-paste it into the search and usually learn something. If only they would do the same.

In other, shorter, words: GOOGLE MOAR.

This is why I keep a link to merriam-webster.com on my personal bookmark bar. Just so that I can go look things up.

Hell, I don't know about anyone else, but if I have a word selected in the text I can right-click to dictionary it right there. :|

I learned about this ability that Firefox has from this wank. Thank you, F_W! No more c&p-ing into dictionary.com for me!

Now I'm really wishing I could use Firefox. (I work at home, my work's system only plays with IE, and it's too much bother to keep switching browsers all the time. That, and I tried Firefox once and it kept crashing on this computer.)

Best feature ever. Unfortunately I find myself wanting to do it when reading actual books.

I used to do that too, until I discovered this Firefox extension. It's probably the one I actively use the most. (As opposed to the ones like AdBlock Plus that just sit there and do their thing without me actually having to use them.)

We should point them to the Just Fucking Google It page.

And now the word "google" just looks silly to me (more than usual, that is).

Or, even better: Let me Google that for you.

I keep my searchbar on Dictionary.com for this very purpose. 8D

That is one of the best things about my MacBook Pro. The dictionary that is included in it.
