Yeesh -- my friend from Ireland would totally confuse people in there. She pronounces the name of the letter "A" as "ah" rather than as "ay", the way most other people do (for instance, she'd spell "zebra" by saying "zed, ee, bee, arr, ah").

....Her name has an "a" in it, and she's spelled it for friends of mine, but they somehow managed to not be thrown by a difference in pronunciation. Some people just really like making fusses, I suppose.
